REALLY?

Apparently, Matt Serra beat Georges St. Pierre tonight. Or something. I think it's a joke. Good one UFC. You got me. Did this really happen? Does Serra know that I spent the entirety of my last UFC-related post kissing St. Pierre's ass? Someone get the man a link to The Irish Whip.

I guess this is the part where I say anything can happen and that's why they fight the fights. Serra's last three losses came to Karo Parisyan (whom St. Pierre beat), Din Thomas (who the fuck is this?), and BJ Penn (whom Matt Hughes and St. Pierre beat).

This just really fucks up the Welterweight division. We had a nice clean order to it with St. Pierre kicking ass and taking names. Hughes was supposed to get his rubber match and that would decide things in the division. Now what if Hughes beats St. Pierre? Does he get the title shot or does St. Pierre get his rematch first? And what if Serra loses the belt in the meantime? Now we have four guys after a title, not to mention all the guys who think they deserve a title shot.

Damn it, St. Pierre, you had one job to do. You win, and I don't have to write about the UFC until Liddell-Jackson in two months. Now I have to write, despite not knowing what to say at all, which should be painfully evident from the general lack of organization and incoherence in this post.
