YES THEY HAVE. This afternoon when I started my usual routine of websites that I visit regularly on the internet (my email, nodq, wwe.com, the irish whip) something on wwe.com caught my eye. I decided to not say anything about it...but then I checked wwe.com again, and it was getting worse. THIS IS ENOUGH. I know that this may be like
telling a 6 year old that Santa Claus is not real, but here goes...MR. McMAHON IS NOT DEAD!
Honestly...there are people who mourned his "death" and brought flowers, cards, and framed pictures to Stamford, CT... Some tearful guy who drove up from freakin' Borger, TX was actually quoted saying "I hated the arrogant b******, but I had to come...I’ve watched wrestling for so many years – I grew up watching him, even during the days when he was just an announcer. It’s going to be weird watching WWE without him."
...Okay...people are retarded...(these people have watched wrestling their whole lives, but they still don't know what a storyline is).
Who is at fault for the dumb people who believe that Vince is dead? That is the true question...let me break it down...
edited for too much heat
I would like to point out that if WWE wants to blow up a car with Mr. McMahon "in it" then be my guest...but having a memorial service for him, and posting a video on wwe.com of his burnt limo being towed away, and actually bringing a fake F.B.I. investigator in to investigate the "crime scene" is a bit over the top.
So basically what I am saying is that it is WWE's fault for creating a storyline that actually makes some people think that someone is dead. This is not like an Undertaker type storyline (because he has died about 100 times) but it is like nothing that we have seen in RECENT memory. WWE has caused mass chaos among the stupid communities in America, and personally I feel that it was unnecessary and a bad move.

I don't think it's going too far...it's certainly gotten WWE a lot of media attention which is usually a good thing.
You are absolutely right though in that it sure brings out the stupidity in people. If Kiefer Sutherland's character died on 24, would people be wondering if he were dead in real life?
This is true that it has gotten WWE major media attention. However, with WWE having the reckless reputation that it already has, does the company need this kind of media attention?
I feel that this could add fuel to the fire in people's campaign against wrestling.
Hey moron, im sorry to say but if wrestling attracts stupid people like ummmm millionaires like donald trump and more, and the guy calling us stupid is a desk jockey who is probably barely making it for himself while trying to find himself a woman who will accept his dumb ass, then yes ill be glad to call my self stupid cause if stupid gets u money like that then so be it. Also let me Point out what wrestling is:ENTERTAINMENT, who didnt wanna see vince get what he deserved even though in real life he is probably a great guy. I thhink before you place your opinion you think about what you say. Bitch freedom of speach is nice is'nt it, so who's the retard now.
all i can say is we dont have to look to far to see the stupid people do we
fake is as it is. but this line is out to lunch and it has gotten that watching is like watching an old italian movie pointless
Just becuase jared gerrard thinks McMahon is dead, why should we believe him? Did you post this same article when Eddie Guerrero died? Or Owen Hart? I dont think so! The bottom line is that Vince may be dead, and if he's not its gonna be one hell of a return! The WWE has always been about entertainment and thats whats this is. The only moron here is jared gerrard and is a disgrace to wrestling fans worldwide. And thats the bottom line.
Archangle...thanks for the comment!!!
However, billionaires like Donald Trump are attracted to WWE because of financial reasons. They do not actually watch the show (in fact I believe that I remember Trump having a difficult time pronouncing Lashley's name). When Trump recently took part in Wrestlemania, he did it because the money that he and Vince generated would all go to charity. I really can't see the man watching wrestling regularly however...but I may be wrong.
Concerning the stupidity of the fans...my comments may have been a little over the line. However, tons of people ACTUALLY think that McMahon is dead. A radio station even sent out their condolences to the McMahon family.
But the real side of the story is that the FBI is rather upset with the WWE for using their name in the storyline. And I quote from the Wall Street Journal "Police in Wilkes-Barre Township, Pa., in a statement said that explosion at Wachovia Arena was a staged event overseen by firefighters and that Mr. McMahon wasn't injured."
WWE even got the proper permits to do this two weeks before.
I'm just saying that WWE shouldn't have storylines that the average fan can't handle. They are getting HUGE coverage for this...however I feel that it is not the type coverage that they need.
I can't believe someone would come on here and insult the person writing this article. You're very creative. Thumbs up to that. "and the guy calling us stupid is a desk jockey who is probably barely making it for himself while trying to find himself a woman who will accept his dumb ass" How original... Do you know what punctuation is? And it's great that you've finally realized that you are stupid =D. Anyways, I believe the WWE has gone too far this time. I know 12 year old children who went to bed crying that night because they thought the WWE was over. Honestly, WHAT A LOAD. The ONLY time they ever film Vince walking out of the arena and into his limo is the time that he gets blown to bits. Ironic? maybe. Making the WWE money? Undoubtedly. Ruining ignorant peoples' lives? Yup. So think about this, it may be show business, but it's also fraud, and for the really die-hard fans, maybe even fuel for suicidal tendencies.
Oh, one more thing. Stephanie is a little whiny bitch.
Whoever just posted the last comment...I would like to shake your hand. You have some good sense, and I hope you continue to read/post comments on our site.
Anyone who would believe that Vince McMahon is really dead, is a total dumbass, and a complete loser.
As for the person who said, if Kiefer Sutherland got killed on the show 24, would people think he is really dead? Geeez........I think most people know that 24 is not a "Reality" show, and there are stupid people who believe that wrestling is real. Give me a friggin' break. What a dumb comment.
ARCHANGEL SAID:
"Hey moron, im sorry to say but if wrestling attracts stupid people like ummmm millionaires like donald trump and more, and the guy calling us stupid is a desk jockey who is probably barely making it for himself while trying to find himself a woman who will accept his dumb ass"
As for Archangle and his little comment. You sound like a really bright and intelligent person, and a real success. So tell me Archangel, which McDonalds do you work at?
And to answer your question:
"so who's the retard now?"
His name is "Archangel" that's who the retard is.
